Building Automation and HVAC Products
The divisions Building Automation and HVAC Products are the specialists of Siemens Building Technologies for solutions in the field of building automation. Zug is headquarters of the two global divisions and competence center for research, development and manufacturing. Building Automation and HVAC Products employ some 15'000 staff worldwide.
Building Automation Division
Building Automation provides integrated high-value adding solutions and services for the technical infrastructure of buildings. This includes the support of customers in achieving building performance and energy efficiency for the life-time of a building.
System Houses
The former Staefa Control System was the first company to recognise that some customers wish to design and install their own control systems. In 1975 they began to form partnerships with Systems Houses to provide products, training and technical back-up as part of the overall service.
Where Staefa led, others have followed, and System Houses have become an important part of the building control scene in the UK, providing an expert local service to all types of customers.
System Houses who have gained "Approved Siemens Building Technologies HVAC Products Division System Houses" status are fully trained in the application, engineering and commissioning of the Integral AS1000 and Unigyr * DDC based range of controls and peripheral equipment.
Approval confirms the existence of an established trading relationship with Siemens Building Technologies, HVAC Products Division. Approval is subject to regular review.
